How to add water to forklift battery using an automatic water filling gun? The following is a practical guide.

Preparation before adding water:
1. Check the battery status: Make sure the forklift battery is in a safe state, disconnect the power supply, and wear protective equipment.
2. Prepare water materials: Make sure the water is deionized water or purified water, avoid using water containing impurities to avoid affecting the battery performance.
3. Connect the water gun: Connect the water gun to the deionized water maker or water truck, and ensure that the connection is firm to avoid water leakage during the water addition process.

Refill operation:
1. Open the vent cap: Locate the battery’s filler neck, usually located on top of the battery, and open all vent caps.
2. Adjust the level ring: Adjust the level ring on the refill gun barrel to better suit the battery refill operation.
3. Perform the refill: Point the nozzle at the battery and reach in, gently press the wrench on the refill gun to allow the deionized water to flow inside the battery. And release the wrench after refilling water to stop refilling, repeat the operation until all full.
4. End refilling: Close all vent caps and reconnect the battery.
Check after adding water:
1. Check the water filling port: make sure the water filling port has been closed tightly to avoid electrolyte leakage.
2. Clean the water filling gun: use water to clean the water filling gun to avoid the residue affecting the next use.
3. Check the performance of the battery: after the completion of adding water, reconnect the power supply to check whether the performance of the battery is back to normal.
